The Durham City Council will hold public hearings on the following Planning cases: Annexations - Perry Farm (BDG2300012); Zoning Map Changes - Cortez Drive Townhouses (Z2200040), Hopson Road Apartments (Z2200058), Millhouse Townes (Z2300003), Durham Summit (Z2300004), Perry Farm (Z2300016)

PLANNING

Annexation:

Colvard Farm Tract (BDG2300025) is a request for a contiguous expansion of the primary corporate limits through state enabled annexation of multiple parcels totaling approximately 87 acres.

Zoning Map Changes:

Colvard Farm Tract (Z2300039A) is a request to change the zoning from Residential Rural (RR) and Residential Suburban-20 (RS-20), Falls/Jordan Districts A and B (F/J-A and F/J-B), County jurisdiction to Residential Rural (RR) and Residential Suburban-20 (RS-20), Falls/Jordan Districts A and (F/J-A and F/J-B) City jurisdiction located at Colvard Farms Subdivision.

UDO Text Amendment:

Simplifying Codes for Affordable Development (TC2200001) (Continued from 8/21/23) A privately-initiated text amendment proposes technical revisions and major policy changes to various provisions of the Unified Development Ordinance (UDO).

This meeting will be held in person in the City Council Chambers, 1st Floor, 101 City Hall Plaza and online using the Zoom virtual meeting platform.

Registration to speak during the City Council Meeting on an agenda item must be submitted by 2:00 p.m. on the day of the City Council Meeting and access will be audio only.
